The Daylights

PKA The Living Daylights

Portland, OR

Straight from Portland, 0R rock clubs that spawned such national celebs as Everclear; The Spinanes, and Pond, comes the wanton abandon of the rock pop foursome The Daylights. Known for their recklessly agressive live shows where anything can and does happen, The Daylights sonic adrenaline and impassioned delivery has whipped many a Northwest crowd in to raging motion.

Fast, loud, and intense, this self-described "aggro-power-pop" quartet have a sound reminiscent of the early 80’s punk rock explosion, but with their own, tight, punchy twist. Gigging around Portland for the past two years, the group has gained a steadily growing fan base. After playing with band as diverse as Goldfinger, The Joykiller, Down By Law, Pegboy, The Vandals, and Sweaty Nipples, The Daylights have ultimately come into their own.

Look for a Daylights track on the upcoming Artists For A Hate-Free America compilation as well as their debut CD on AIRFORCE Records coming this summer.

Watch for The Daylights never—ending tour throughout late summer and fall.
